boxpizza's founders are chefs James Sturdy and Henry Vigar, who as well as having many years of catering experience, also share a passion for great pizza.

What makes boxpizza different from every other pizza delivery service?

We do not produce our pizzas in a 'production line' mass produced way like the bigger chains.

At boxpizza our pizzas are all made by genuine chefs who care about the pizzas they make. our aim is to provide the kind of food you would expect in a restaurant, but with the comfort factor of being able to order from your couch and simply wait for us to arrive!

Our pizzas are free from processed meats, hydrogenated fats and any other nasties found in most other takeaway food, but with no reduction in taste or flavour!

Will my pizza arrive quickly?

60% of our orders are delivered within half an hour and 90% within 40 minutes.

We know how important it is to get your food there as fast as possible and that is why we set up a text alert system which will send a message straight to your mobile phone when your order is despatched from our store, so you are never left guessing as to when it will arrive.

Will my food be delivered hot and fresh?

Yes, for 3 reasons.

1. We have a 'one order, one driver' policy. we never send more than one order with a driver at a time.
2. We aim to time orders so they come straight out of the oven and straight to your door.
3. Our pizzas are sent from the store in special insulated electronically heated bags, so your pizza is always delivered hot.

Is my food prepared hygienically?

We have a 4 star hygiene rating (rated as very good) from Leeds city council’s environmental health department. How well do our competition check out? find out at Leeds City Council.
